Musical Series: Violin Thursday, Jan 31 2008

I blame this is my roommate.  She was helping a mutual friend out by forcing him to write her story for her.  (Which doesn’t sound like helping, but we’ll say it is)  To help him visualize, she said “Ok, hear the song playing right now?”  (It was Ikemen Boogie Nights, from the J-drama HanaKimi)  “Ok, try to see the person playing the violin.”

So, since I was sitting on the couch playing Persona 3, naturally, I tried to do the same.

Now, I’m stuck doing it with pretty much every song I hear.  I may make more of these – which is why it’s called Musical Series: Violin.

It was really quickly done, so forgive how sketchy and not-correct it looks.  I did it in 20 minutes, people!  …That said, I may some day fix it.  But I doubt it.

Music Madness Friday, Jan 25 2008

Madness, I say! I can walk down the street and have Utada Hikaru’s “Beautiful World” drumming through my ears. I can hear Persona 3’s crazy “Burn My Dread” start thumping along. I can start singing randomly on the sidewalk. I’ll get as many irritated looks as before, but now I have an excuse to do it!

Yes, I got an mp3 player. I finally broke down and got one. But take this, iPod! It’s an RCA! 8 gigs and it cost me $65! (in case you were unaware before now, I hate (and yes, hate is the right word) iTunes with a passion. Passion. I dislike the set-up, the way you use it, and overall, just the general program. I don’t like where things are, the way it has to be used to connect to the internet……..yeah, and don’t even get me started on the iTunes store. Uh-uh. Horrendous.)

So I’ve been looking for a cheap, easy-to-use, non-iPod mp3 player. And I found one. And now my life is musical again.

On a different note entirely, I’m currently playing said Persona 3. It’s addicting. Oh, my gosh, is it addicting. I mean, time passes without you really noticing it while you’re playing that game. You just plan… “Hey, I think I’ll do karaoke tonight, since Mitsuru’s busy and we can’t go to Tartarus.” “Who should I hang out with after school tomorrow?” “I should really get to the next boss in Tartarus so I can keep up with exploration….” It just keeps going. And then, next thing you know, it’s 2 am and you need to get up for an 8:30 class the next morning, which you know is not going to be pretty. Well, ok, so I’ve never done that, but it sure FEELS like I did (me and less than eight hours of sleep = not good).

I finally got a ‘death’-type persona. I’m pretty excited about that. 😀

Just a heads-up, I think I’ll be starting another manga, but NOT the fan-fic I said I would. I can start the fanfic later, after I finish my crappy comic. For now, I’m going to work on my sister’s story that she’s wanted me to work with for a while.

Haha, that picture ended up being more complicated than I intended. It’ll be a while before it’s done.

Later!

Relief! Thursday, Jan 17 2008

Not that long ago, my external died on me.  I was very very sad, seeing as a great deal of my information (aka, all of it) was on it.  I was afraid…afraid that they were gone forever….  I couldn’t get it to work AT ALL, so I gave it to my martial arts sensei (he works with computers as a job), and he futzed with it until, at last, with much work and, I imagine, grumbling, he managed to get my information from it.

SO I HAVE IT ALLLLLL!!!!  AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!!!

Yes, very very relieved.

I’m going to do a fan comic.  Is this a bad thing?  I don’t know.  I don’t really know what I’m going to do with it, or how good I’m going to make it, but I plan on doing one about Kateyo Hitman Reborn.  Wisheth me luck~~! *zooms off*

Ah, no pictures.  Sorry.  I started drawing, but I didn’t finish it in time. ^___^|||||
